+ solid colors are defined as: any basic body color, dapples if desired, leg markings not to extend past knees/hocks, any facial markings

+ patterned colors are defined as: any basic body color, dapples if desired, leg markings extending past knees/hocks, any facial markings, body markings including pintos and appaloosas, as well as extensive dappled greys

+ oversized Traditional scale models are subject to an additional $65 charge for solid colors, and $85 for patterned colors (examples of oversized models - Equus Maximus, Deputed Duke, Remus, Eberl Trakehner, etc...)

+ basic (seam removal, logo removal, minor pin hole filling) and more extensive (ie. second quality casts - sprue removal, bubble filling, massive seam removal, minor resculpting, etc) prepping is offered separately

+ the model "body" is not included, though I can assist you in finding one to suit your needs at cost.

+ I DO NOT send in progress photos or unsolicited updates. However, you are welcome to email me at merriemeadefarm@gmail.com to periodically check in.

Your spot is not considered "booked" until your deposit is received, and [if applicable] work will not begin until the prepping fee has been paid.

+ deposits and prepping fees can be paid directly through the shop at https://www.aedionnephoto.com/model-horse-commissions

2024 Specifics

+ Accepting solid (includes dapples) colors, as well as most patterned colors (excludes heavily spotted appaloosas or extreme roany sabino/overos)

+ Currently booking for 2024 spots

+ models can be shipped anytime after purchasing your spot (ideally as soon as possible, especially pieces requiring prepping)

+ please email all ideas/reference photos to merriemeadefarm@gmail.com after booking your spot

+ At this point, specific turn around times are not being offered - depending on the color/pattern, scale, time received, and number of models sent, time to completion could be anywhere from a month to a year. Following the pandemic, the particular sealer I use has become very difficult to come by (and I use many layers of it during the painting process). As such, I cannot guarantee when a model may be complete.

Let's work together
